Introduction

The Kwara State BECE Registration Portal is a web-based application used by schools to manage student registration and Continuous Assessment (CA) score entry for BECE candidates.

Who the portal is for

  • Public schools — register and manage candidates, with or without form payment
  • Private schools — register candidates using purchased form credits
  • Director — views all application processes across the state
  • LGA coordinators — manage schools, grant school access, and view student lists per school
  • Supervisors (Ministry staff) — oversee examination administration

School login

The login page allows authorised schools to access the portal using their school credentials.

Required credentials

  • School code
  • Password

Step-by-step

  1. Open the KW-BECE portal in your browser.
  2. Enter the school code.
  3. Enter the password.
  4. Click the "Sign In" button.
  5. The system redirects you to the dashboard after a successful login.

Student management & registration

The Student Management Module allows schools to register, edit, view, and manage student records.

Steps to register a student

  1. Click "Manage / Edit Students".
  2. Click "Register New Student".
  3. Fill in the student information form.
  4. Select the student's subjects.
  5. Upload a passport photograph, if available.
  6. Click "Submit" to save the student.

Continuous Assessment (CA) score entry

The CA Score Entry module is used to record students' Continuous Assessment scores. There are three ways to enter scores, depending on how many students you're updating at once.

Individual entry mode

  1. Open "C.A Score Entries".
  2. Click "Enter Scores" beside a student.
  3. Enter CA scores for each subject.
  4. Click "Submit" to save.

Validation rules

  • Scores must not exceed 40
  • Only registered subjects should be entered
  • Empty compulsory scores should be avoided

Multiple student entry mode

  1. Open the "Multiple Students" tab.
  2. Select a subject.
  3. The system displays students registered for the subject.
  4. Enter scores for all students.
  5. Click "Submit Scores".

Bulk upload (CSV format)

  1. Download the CSV template.
  2. Fill in student scores offline.
  3. Save the file in CSV format.
  4. Upload the CSV file.
  5. Review the uploaded scores.
  6. Submit the scores.

Can students select both Yoruba and Hausa?

Reconnect and retry the upload process.
